We’ll have a table set up Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm to encourage everyone to vote In-Person Absentee (early voting). We want everybody to know that they can avoid the long lines on Election Day. We’ll be distributing flyers telling them where and when they can vote as early as TODAY!
Pizon will be volunteering at this function from 12 noon to 4pm on Thursday. “Despite my best efforts to stay inside this week, I had to do my part to help get out the vote in these last few days before the election. It’s going to come down to a few critical states, and Virginia is going to be one of them, so it’s important that everyone in the commonwealth makes his or her voice heard.”
Directions: From the Beltway, take Rt. 236 (Little River Turnpike) West. After about 1 mile, turn Left on Wakefield Chapel Rd. The campus is on your left. Park in the 5-level garage for $1/hour. We’ll be on the Plaza in front of the CF Building. If the weather is bad, we’ll be in the Cafeteria on the lower level of the CF Building.

Pizon at Morgan State Voter Rally 10/2

Coming off the heels of the “Let Freedom Ring” video premiering on Video Music Box to a quarter of a million viewers, Pizon will be joining Timid at a rally at Morgan State University aimed at registering and mobilizing voters for the upcoming election. If you’re in the Baltimore area, please come out and join us. Expect to see a performance.

Pre-marathon media blitz 10/25
September 14, 2008To highlight the importance and bring to light the historic nature of Hip Hop having a platform at the world’s largest marathon on October 25th, one week before the marathon, artists performing and about 300+ of their fans, friends, and supporters will together hand deliver invitations to the ING NYC Marathon Show.
Invitations will be delivered to numerous entertainment companies, radio and media, and record company locations throughout NYC. Everyone is meeting at Columbus Circle and ending up at Times Square & MTV Studios to personally invite MTV & NYC…
As everyone is taking this two-hour journey, calls will be made to every television station, news room, newspaper, and media outlet in NYC by all 300 people telling them what we’re doing and inviting them to the show.
The goals are to increase support of the marathon, to increase attendance at final stretch of the marathon, and to increase awareness of the show itself. Represent the Hip Hop & R&B Community Proudly.

For the third year in a row, Pizon and Timid will be performing live at the official NYC Marathon show. This year, they will be joined on stage by Team Blackout, Persia, and many other special guests. Come out to support the runners on their 22nd mile and see a free outdoor Hip Hop concert in Harlem!
NYC residents, watch Video Music Box with Uncle Ralph McDaniels next Saturday night at midnight (NYC-TV Ch.25/Ch.22) to see the television debut of Timid’s ”Let Freedom Ring” video.
